RFP owns controlling interests in a collection of athlete-focused brands in the youth sports market, operating in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland, and in two fully outfitted training facilities, and in a tournament and events company that provides experiential events for athletes and their families.
RFP’s portfolio companies have built their success by focusing exclusively on the athlete – from training (with a focus on fundamentals and repetitions), to mentoring (with a focus on mental approach and well-being), to promotion (social media and college recruiting), to employment (bringing athletes back to teach the next generation). Our portfolio companies surround their athletes with coaches and instructors at the top of their games, who are “teachers” not just former professional athletes, and with the technology needed to measure athletes’ development and success objectively. Our companies deliver high level camps and clinics, from their “little sluggers” camps run by instructors with child psychology and related degrees to college instructional camps run by current college coaches from all levels of competition (from Division 1 to Division III to NAIA and JUCO), to put athletes in positions to succeed.
